Have the shopping list scroll down along the page as you add recipes.
I don't know if this is possible program wise, but it would be nice to have the shopping list scroll down along the side of the screen while you add recipes. Maybe there are other ways of adding to your menu and calculating the shopping list, but having that option of the list scrolling down with you along the page would be nice.

create the ability to add personal notes on recipes
Users might want to jot down personal notes on individual recipes on the site or in their cookbook, but not share those notes with other users of the site.

KitchenPC needs mobile and tablet apps!
KitchenPC needs to be multi-device, with apps for iOS (iPhone and iPad), Android phones and tablets, as well as Windows Phone 8 and Surface! Each should cater to scenarios and typical use cases for those devices. Be sure to share your ideas in the comments section!

Show the number of reviews for each rating
The number of reviews gives better confidence of how good a recipe is. When searching for new recipes, this is super helpful

allow shopping lists to be grouped by recipe
Users might want to see what recipes went into the current shopping list, and group that list by recipe. In this mode, amounts would not be aggregated but appear multiple times if they were used in multiple recipes.

give users more control over the meal planner
Users want to have more control over the meal planner. Is it better to use up more of my ingredients? Or would it be better not to have to buy more things. Users should be in control. The meal planner interface needs an "Advanced" tab that provides the user with more control over what types of recipes the meal planner will find.

Lactose Intolerant Recipes
There isn't a filter option for those who are lactose intolerant. I can usually just supplement certain things for dairy products, but it would be nice to have recipes just for that subset of dietary concerns.

Add WAY more recipes! And menus!
Fantastic front end and user interface - really nails down how people think about cooking and menu planning. Your database produces very limited selection of recipes, however, even for searches of some common ingredients. E.g. a popular search for kale and chickpeas for which there are numerous fantastic recipes online, produces just a few recipe results on Kitchen PC - none of them really fit the 2 ingredient search criteria. Also some inaccuracies - e.g. Greek cucumber salad (which has neither kale, nor chickpeas in it) is suggested under a named search for kale and chickpeas as the only 2…

allow different units - like "cans" of s
Today, you have to describe items by weight or volume. Some items aren't easily described in recipes by these. For example, you may have "2 cans of soup" or "3 eggs" - in which cases most folks may not know the fl oz or weight in grams.

Allow items to be checked off and removed from the shopping list.
Provide a check box by shopping list items, so we can check items we already have, then provide a button to remove the checked items from the list.

Data output ;lacks accuracy when searching for a combination of ingredients
Tried your "What can I cook" search otion with a popular combination- zucchini, orzo, carrots...
Suggested recipes are inaccurate - do not capture these search criteria as a combination of the ingredients - your search engine just picks up EVERYTHING with zucchini. Chicken burger is also suggested as a recipe..?
Also noticing that most of the recipes are missing photos - food photography really matters. Also noticing ALL of the suggested recipes show up as 5 star recipes - not possible. You should set your default option at no stars until users really do reviews or if you have some…1 vote -
Make recipes wiki-like & add variations options
Wiki-like funcitonality: Allow community edits of the recipes, for corrections, with the possibility of rolling back any edits.
Variations: Also allow community members to copy over and make variations to recipes (mostly same ingredients, but add in __ units of spam, for example) keeping variations tied to original
